The new comedy series Sawalef Tafash reflects throughout its thirty episodes the general atmosphere of the life of the Gulf during the period between the forties and fifties of the last century, and although the episodes do not tell real stories of the past, it illustrated to represent the licentious past.
Although the stories of some episodes threw some light over the current social situation, the screening of the whole series, however, is inspired by the nature of the popular and traditional life which characterized the Arab Gulf states during that era.
Up to nine key characters were emerged along the stories being told through the episodes, in addition to minor and assistant characters as well as TV stars who might visit the series in an episode or more to break the monotony and the routine casting uniqueness and elegance over the stories of each episode.
Willing to draw a smile on our viewers’ faces with all of their age groups and diversity of tastes Sawalef Tafash team hopes to gain their admiration and satisfaction.
Tafash, the dreamer young guy, all along the stories, is trying to get a decent job in order to be able to marry his beloved Adhari, the daughter of his neighbors; Abu Adhari, the village barber and his bossy wife.
Trying to conquer the difficulties of life with the helping hand of his loyal friend Jassum, Tafash puts himself – as well as others – indiscriminately into more unexpected troubles, none of their neighbors and friends are quite safe of their non-welcomed disasters.
